After his family moved away and abandoned him, a cat ended up stranded outside his own home. Seeking solace, he made his way to a neighbor’s house where he was greeted with food and compassion.
Debbie, a dedicated foster volunteer in Virginia, was asked by her coworker to help a homeless cat that had been left behind by a family on their street. Without hesitation, Debbie agreed to assist in any way she could. The Ragdoll cat, abandoned when his owners moved away, had been wandering the neighborhood in search of food and shelter. Fortunately, he was welcomed into the coworker’s home before the harsh winter set in. Debbie couldn’t bear to see the cat struggling to survive on his own and was happy to step in and provide him with love and care.

She went above and beyond to ensure the cat was comfortable, providing him with a cozy bed, a heat lamp, and regular meals. The kitty quickly formed a bond with Debbie, shadowing her like a loyal puppy and even getting along with her pug dog.

She was contacted for assistance and gladly took him in last week. Debbie was amazed by the kitty’s wonderful demeanor, describing him as incredibly sweet and gentle. She mentioned how the kitty was already exploring the house confidently as if it was his own.
Debbie, who goes by @fosterkittys on social media, shared how the majestic feline is delighted to have a cozy shelter and caring humans to keep him company. The affectionate cat prefers to stick close to his foster parents, craving companionship and love.
“I’ve nicknamed him Valentino because he’s a true sweetheart, a huge ball of love. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it seemed like the perfect fit for him,” Debbie expressed to Love Meow.
Debbie @fosterkittys noticed that after spending some time wandering the streets, he started showing signs of an upper respiratory infection and had a few tangles in his fur.
“I decided to schedule a vet visit to have him checked out, get a blood test, some vaccinations, and a much-needed grooming session.”
Debbie from @fosterkittys shared that the vet guessed the cat’s age to be between 2-3 years old. They took care of his matted fur to make him more comfortable and also gave him antibiotics to help him recover from his kitty cold. According to Debbie, the cat was very friendly and affectionate, receiving lots of love and attention from the staff at the vet clinic.
